Synopsis
A fictitious professor of archaeology named Dr. Henry Walton "Indiana" Jones, Jr., first appeared in the 1981 movie Raiders of the Lost Ark, which launched the Indiana Jones media brand. The Temple of Doom, a prequel, and The Last Crusade, a sequel, were both published in 1984 and 1989, respectively. In 2008, a fourth movie called The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was released. A fifth movie is in the works and will hit theaters in 2023. George Lucas is the creator of the series, which features Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones. Steven Spielberg, who collaborated closely with Lucas during their production, helmed the first four movies.
