Synopsis of Beauty and the Beast

          Beauty and the Beast tells the story of Belle, a beautiful young girl who is looked down upon by her town for being a bit of a bookworm, and a former prince who has been turned into a monster. When Belle's father doesn't return from a trip in the woods she goes off to rescue him. She realizes that the Beast has captured her father and promises to stay with him forever if he would let her father free. At first Belle is repulsed by the Beast's harsh nature, but hoping that a relationship formed between Belle and the Beast will rid them from the curse, the servants are eager to make Belle feel comfortable in their home.
