Synopsis

The show starts with the Narrator's retelling of the story of Joseph, the favorite of the 12 sons of Jacob. Jacob gives his favorite son a beautiful colored coat, which greatly annoys his brothers. However, their tipping point occurs when Joseph tells of his vivid dreams of accomplishing many feats with his brothers bowing to him. The brothers all conspire to get rid of the dreamer and sell him to some Ishmaelites that were riding by. The brothers break the news to Jacob, telling him that Joseph is dead. Jacob is heartbroken, and meanwhile, Joseph is in Egypt in the service of Potiphar. Will he ever achieve his dreams? Will Jacob ever find out the truth?
