"It's Murder in the Wings"

This was first play I was ever in. It is a lesser known comedy/mystery.

Plot Summary: Maddie (left in picture below), Editor of The Wings Publishing Company, discovers her boss has been murdered just moments before an important contract-signing party.

Tyrolia, the logical one (left) Doris, the not so smart one, (middle) and Kitty, the sarcastic one (right) are just as stumped as Maddie about what they could possibly do. Maddie and her staff finally come to the conclusion that all they have to do is keep the murder under wraps until notorious author Lionel Upshaw (below) signs a contract bringing about a new loan from J.B. Odell which will save the company.

To try and cover things up, they pretend that the murder is actually a part of a murder mystery game. To complicate things, Maddie's new's reporter boyfriend shows up looking for a story (far left), a news reporter appears digging for some dirt (middle left), the nosy caterer starts asking questions (middle right). And maybe worst of all, their late bosses finacee appears looking for her lover (far right). It is a complicated web of lies and laughter that comes to a conclusion that wll leave you rolling in your seat.
